Even in this day and age there are still some negative misconceptions surrounding the Lowrider community. In order to dispel these misunderstandings we partnered with Shell Lubricants, featuring Quaker State, to launch Roll Models, a video series that focuses and highlights stand-up individuals in the Lowrider community. From athletes to entertainers to executives, we’re putting the spotlight on outstanding men and women who have worked hard to get to where they are today. These people are passionate about what they do and they are passionate about lowriding.
In our first episode of Roll Models we’re featuring Steve Alvarez-Mott. Not only is Steve the owner of a beautiful ’58 Impala and longtime member of Groupe Car Club but he is also an obstetrician-gynecologist who has delivered over 9,000 babies during his career. Steve says that sometimes his job can be long and difficult but in the end he always finds it rewarding, and this is why we look up to him as a Roll Model.
