The roots of lowriding runs deep. As a matter of fact, it’s long been a lifestyle more than it has ever been a hobby. With the countless amount of hours and heartbreak that goes into building one, it becomes clearly evident that this is something of a tradition. In essence, a lowrider becomes a part of our family unit, and at times it’s the one member of the family that creates the most tension and chaos.

Lowriding is the reason we stay up days on in waiting for our builds to be done. It’s the reason we spend countless hours hunting for rare or hard to find parts, and it’s the reason we try to get that over time pay. It’s also the reason we often find ourselves driving beaters as daily drivers. Now don’t get me wrong, when I say the word “beater” I’m referencing our economical cars like Hondas and Toyotas, not the old and tired clunkers you were thinking of.

That said, we decided to replace the headlights and taillights on one of our daily drivers which happens to be a 2005 Honda Civic. The headlights of our car were cloudy and beyond repair, and the taillights were showing signs of aging so we decided to replace them with a set from AnzoUSA.

WHY AnzoUSA?

With over 30 years of manufacturing experience, AnzoUSA surpasses their competition in quality, innovative styling and product offerings. They offer the best
quality performance lighting products at an affordable cost and all of their products are SAE and D.O.T. compliant to FMVSS No. 108; and manufactured in our state-of-the-art ISO 9002 and QS 9000 quality certified factory.

So what does that mean in plain English? It means that they’re the best at what they do and meet or exceed the quality found on OEM replacement units. Unlike some of their competition, you won’t get leaky or faulty headlights or taillights because they’re manufacturing is bar none the best in the business. In addition, they rigorously test every AnzoUSA lighting product in a Thermo-Hygrometer (temperature and humidity chamber) and a Rain-Resistant Tester. During testing, they thoroughly expose all of their products to intense photometric testing to assure a quality and sealed product.
